Let me start by saying that the Padded Vickers sling is one of, if not, the best sling on the market. This is my second one I have, but I'll be selling it because the OD Green color is very light and almost looks faded. I cannot recommend the OD color to you because it does not compare to other OD Green items I have. I would recommend this sling in any of the other colors.

Strong sling saw a lot of people online recommending the vickers sling. Put on my ar15. Padding on the long helps a lot with carrying the rifle for a while. Would recommend to anyone who asks. Seems expensive but is well worth the money 10/10

This is with out a doubt the best sling I own. Definitely get the padded model. Simple to instal and the ergonomics is fantastic. I have bought other “cheap” slings and you get what you pay for. Adjusting is so simple just pull on tab. The best AR sling on the market.

I thought this sling would be awesome but it can't adjust as much as the unpadded version because the padding is stitched on. I'm not the biggest guy, plus I wanted the forward sling mount to be as close to the magazine well as possible, so long story short I couldn't make the sling quite short enough to get that super tightened down ability if so desired. I'm gonna go with the unpadded and return this one, but still felt great and will work awesome for everyone.

Buy once cry once. Don’t waste money or time. I tried 3 I didn’t like before getting this one, and didn’t like any except for this one. This sling is made of good quality materials and is easy to install. Just remember to get mounting accessories.

Does the job it was designed for. Very good sling. Material is rugged and just the right thickness. Has a pull cord that works. Look forward to purchasing products by this mfg. Having an account with OpticsPlanet.com makes writing this review even better! I will save all of my reviews for access to coupon codes I’ve earned, and will provide me with a handy list of recently ordered items that I can review at a later date. GOOD SLING.

I have a nine pound AR that gets tiresome to carry on longer journeys. I tried a single point sling, but it did not do a very good job of managing the weight of my AR. I saw how highly recommended this sling is and tried it. After a week of using it in various positions, I have to say that I'm in love. The Vickers keeps my AR tight to my body when necessary and can be ready in an instant with the sling pull. My only complaint is that it seems the stitching in the padding could have been reversed in order to make it more comfortable.

My new favorite sling. I have a bunch of Magpul MS3 slings which work fine, but this sling is quite a bit lighter weight and I feel the quick adjust works better and is more positive. The models with built in QD swivels were never in stock so I ordered some this one and some Spike’ Lightweight QD swivels and it works great.

I'm not a Navy Seal, Army Ranger or even a Latrine Scrubber working for the Armed Forces, so I really haven't had a chance to wear this 2-point sling outside my home. Right now I have it attached to 2 Daniel Defense QD Swivels (Heavy Duty, 1.250"). One swivel plugs into the forend of my AR15 and the other plugs into my MagPul moving stock (forgive me if that offends any of you Californians). Okay, I'm 6'2" and more than slightly overweight, yet the strap allows plenty of adjustment to fit the AR15 on me, and that is before I deploy the QUICK ADJUST. I chose ordinary black, but Blue Force Gear offer a large assortment of bitchin' colors. Have no question: these are fantastic and versatile slings that will suit all Your rifle-carrying needs. BUY ONE, BUY TWO. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG HERE.

Excellent quality. I have the original Vickers sling, and it is as tough as they come. And the padded sling makes a long day of carrying even better. One note, this sling is long, so much so, I had to shorten it as far as possible (of course, this while wearing just a t-shirt, as I have a QD attachment at the rear of my guard. I found velcro worked great at holding the slack, so I do not have to cut it if I want it in a different configuration later.

These are outstanding, practical slings. Well built with easy adjustment. This is the second one I've ordered. I understand they are Marine Corps issue now. That in itself speaks volumes for the sling.

This is the best sling I have ever used! It trurly lives up to the Blue Force Gear and Vickers names! A very nice touch is the contrasting pull tab to loosen and tighten the sling for transitions. I will be getting a lot of use out of this for the numerous classes that I have coming up. Looking to get another one for another build I’m working on

I've got a box full of "nothing better" slings from single point to two point to dual single/two point slings. By far none are as comfortable and no BS set up and the Vickers padded combat sling. Just buy it and save yourself some time and money. It's a little more but I could have one on every weapon I own if I had bought this one first instead of wasting good money on all the others. Buy with confidence.

The real deal is at times it’s really hard for Blue Fource Gear to keep up with demand for these Larry Vickers designed slings, I still have two of them on back Order right now. Larry Vickers used his experience in combat with the US Army, as a contractor and as a firearms instructor, and I’m sure with input from others like Ken Hacathorn and many of his friends to design the very best combat application sling ever devised. Yes I do have one on each of my M1 Garand’s. I’m a collector of all sorts of military firearms, I’ve served in combat, I’ve been in the Army, I’ve volunteered in law enforcement, I am a serious firearms enthusiast and have shot in competition here and there. So if you want the very best combat application sling that you can get. These are the ones to get. I’ve tried out most of the competitors combat application slings and they just don’t compare. What I usually end up doing with the other brands is put them is; put them on a gun I didn’t like that I’m trading off or selling, put them on a build I’m doing for someone that’s not a friend and or just give them away. Because nothing else com... Read More...

I’ve been using this sling for about 3 weeks now and it is exactly right. First off there are no annoying snag points. The padding is just right for my back and shoulder without being annoyingly thick. The quick adjustment is fast and smooth. I spent some tome adjusting it to get it just right then cut off the excess and burned the ends with a lighter. If you are looking for a sling look no more. Just buy this. You will not regret it.

Its a well built (overbuilt, really) sling, does what its supposed to do. The pull tab is easy to use, and very convenient. Easy to install, and it has a lot of adjustment settings, whether a bean pole or mountain of a man.

Great sling at a decent price. The Vickers does everything I need without breaking the bank. The padding and quality are top notch. I love the tropical camouflage too. Shipping could've been faster but I'm happy either way.

Accepted the QD mounts I have. I prefer the padded sling. This one is on a light gun, so it's ok. I did use a padded sling on the shotgun. It is well made would buy a third if I need one. BFG is a good company to work with.

You are not going to war,so you won't need to carry your gun all day,but if you would need one this sling is the best... during years I have bought differents, even more expensive, but this is top and at a acceptable price.

This is a great combat style sling that I use on a tactical shotgun. Seems very reliable and easy to adjust for changing stances and/or quick scrambling to new firing positions with security. My only complaint is minor: they did not include the QD swivels that most other slings come with.

Optics Planet came through yet again with an awesome deal and extremely fast shipping. The sling arrived within two days after the order was placed and was exactly as described. The sling is padded enough to provide extreme comfort for long hauls and the triglides are perfect for my applications as adjustments can be made very rapidly and easily.

I put this on a MKA 1919 shotgun . This Sling is going to allow me to shoulder and rest it while shooting for much longer periods of time ! I actually bought another 1 after getting this one. They have a "Limited Edition" AK 2 point sling, which is also King of the Slings ! The adjuster is very simple and easy to use. Smooth , won't bind up. Very fine material top to bottom !

I really like my Vickers Blue Force sling from Optics Planet, another pleasant experience, no issues. This sling is pleanty long, I am 6 foot 3 and there is more than enough length to work with. I had to take up all the slack I possibly could to make it fit me. The padded section is very comfortable on my shoulder.

I purchased this sling for a hunting rifle for its quick adjustment feature. It looks good and appears to be a good design and well made, however I was hoping that the sling would be more compact for a light weight hunting rifle. The plastic triglides at the attachment ends do make a bit of noise when they hit against my plastic rifle stock. This would not be an issue for combat applications but for hunting applications, it's sometimes beneficial to be as silent as possible. Overall this is a quality product. But for my applications I'd prefer a sling with sewn-in QD connectors to eliminate the need for the triglide fasteners at the ends.

This has become my go to sling for all of my AR rifles. This sling is easy to set up, adjust and employ. While there are several other quality sling manufacturers in the industry, I have found the Vickers CAS to be among the best. Highly recommend this sling.

It isn't quite as easy to use as I expected, but this is my first time trying to run an adjustable sling, so I have nothing to compare it to. Every review I've seen indicates that this is one of the easiest ones. The sling is very good quality, very sturdy. No sloppy stitchwork, nothing feels cheaply made. And as always, Optics Planet had it at a great price and got it to me quickly. Would buy again.

I did a lot of research before finally making a choice on this sling. It appeared to give you the ability to transition quicker than other options based on reviews I had seen. Well after receiving it, I can understand what all the fuss was about. I am very happy with my purchase

Great sling!! Works awesome with the quick adjust, the padding is a plus. Seems like it'll last for quite awhile. Was looking at 2 or 3 slings, settled on this one and happy I did! Chose this over the magpul ms4, was considering the ferro slingster.

Have tried many different sling and most are complicated and difficult to use. Not the case with the with blue force gear it makes slinging your rifle for carry or extra support super easy with about 5 minutes of training. Set up and and adjustment is quick. The down side is you have to buy whichever mounting system you want and install yourself which is not a huge deal but would be nice for example to just order the sling and have the option for whichever you like to come already installed . Other than that the sling is rock solid.

I absolutely love it. When it arrived, it took me less than 5 minutes to figure out how it worked, and then how to get it mounted to the rifle. I was super pleased with the quality of construction of the sling. It should allow for a lifetime of use. I know for a fact that it stand up extremely well to heat, as one side of my sling is right next to my gas tube relief ports. I WILL buy this product again.

This sling is made very well! The straps are thick and feel very strong. It is also very comfortable. Only reason for 4 stars is that it does not adjust as easily as my Viking sling. Maybe after some breaking in, it will adjust easier.
